FAQ

As a homeowner, where should I begin the process?

  • Select pictures from magazines, drawings, books, internet, etc.
  • Download and save floor plans from the internet.
  • Make changes as per desired layouts.
  • From there, we will help you design your dream home.

Do I need an Architect or Drafting Person?

  • During our initial one-on-one consultation, we can discuss which one best suits your particular design.

Do you have an Interior Designer?

  • Yes, upon clients’ requests, we do have an interior decorator to consult with.

Are you as a builder involved in the design?

  • Yes, I can help the Architect or Drafting Person and give them my thoughts of how the home will be positioned on the site.
  • Water drainage must be discussed from the beginning.

Do you foresee any water problems?

  • I always look at the lot prior to our initial consultation.
  • If I foresee a potential water-issue, I will discuss it with you and tell you how I will address it.

What about Exterior Elevations?

  • While the floor plan is being drawn, you should be thinking about what you want and desire on the exterior.
  • It’s a good idea to discuss pricing of different amenities with the builder upfront so you have an idea of what they will cost.

Do you have a specific price per square foot?

  • I custom build your home so until I know what amenities you desire, it’s difficult to give an exact price.
  • At our initial one-on-one consultation, I will give you pricing on different amenities.
  • Once I get your final plans, I will get bids from all sub-contractors and suppliers.

What all does your bid include?

  • Our bid includes everything from start to finish. From permitting until we turn-key on the finished product.
  • We will guide you through the whole process.

When were finished, what about the small issues?

  • Every project has what we call a punch list.
  • I am always available to address those issues and coordinate them with the proper sub-contractor to achieve satisfaction.
